Affacciato direttamente sulla splendida Piazza del Duomo, Le Stanze del Cardinale è un elegante Boutique Bed & Breakfast situato nel cuore del centro storico di Pavia, a pochi passi dall’Università, dal Teatro Fraschini, dal Tribunale e dai principali monumenti della città.
Inaugurata nel 2015, la struttura occupa un affascinante palazzo del XV secolo, antica sede della Fabbriceria del Duomo e successivamente trasformato in residenza privata.
L’edificio conserva l’originale conformazione delle antiche case-torri medievali e si sviluppa su quattro piani collegati da una caratteristica scala centrale. Le camere si affacciano sulla suggestiva Piazza del Duomo o sui tetti del centro storico, regalando scorci autentici della città.

Le Stanze del Cardinale dispone di sei camere, tra matrimoniali e singole, arredate con cura attraverso una selezione di mobili d’epoca, tessuti ricercati e complementi scelti da Antyche Case, che ha seguito personalmente il progetto di restauro e interior design.

Le camere matrimoniali godono di una splendida vista sulla Piazza del Duomo, mentre le camere singole si affacciano sul lato più tranquillo della città.
Per soggiorni più lunghi è inoltre disponibile uno Studio, composto da zona notte, bagno privato e soggiorno con angolo cottura e divano letto.

La colazione
La tariffa comprende una ricca colazione a buffet, servita ogni mattina dalle 7:45 alle 10:30 nell’accogliente sala colazioni della struttura.
Il buffet propone brioche appena sfornate, torte artigianali, cereali, yogurt, frutta fresca di stagione, succhi di frutta e una selezione di bevande calde preparate con sistema Nespresso.
Su richiesta prepariamo anche proposte salate, per soddisfare le diverse preferenze dei nostri ospiti.
Prestiamo particolare attenzione alla qualità dei prodotti e siamo lieti di soddisfare, ove possibile, esigenze alimentari specifiche, allergie o intolleranze, purché comunicate prima dell’arrivo.

Arrivare in auto
La struttura si trova all’interno della Zona a Traffico Limitato del centro storico. È comunque possibile raggiungere l’ingresso in automobile per le operazioni di check-in e scarico dei bagagli, acquistando il permesso di accesso previsto dal Comune.
Il nostro staff provvederà alla registrazione della targa e sarà lieto di assistervi nelle operazioni di parcheggio.
È inoltre disponibile, su prenotazione e secondo disponibilità, un garage privato. In alternativa sono presenti diversi parcheggi pubblici a pagamento a pochi minuti a piedi dalla struttura.

A Charming Bed & Breakfast in the Historic Heart of Pavia
Overlooking the beautiful Piazza del Duomo, Le Stanze del Cardinale is an elegant boutique Bed & Breakfast located in the very heart of Pavia’s historic centre, just a short walk from the University, the Fraschini Theatre, the Courthouse and the city’s most important landmarks.
Opened in 2015, the property occupies a fascinating 15th-century building that originally housed the administrative offices of Pavia Cathedral before becoming a private residence.
The building retains the distinctive vertical layout of the medieval tower houses typical of the old city. It extends over four floors connected by a central staircase, with rooms overlooking either the charming Piazza del Duomo or the rooftops and southern side of historic Pavia.
Elegant Rooms with Timeless Character
Le Stanze del Cardinale offers six carefully appointed guest rooms, including both double and single rooms, individually furnished with antique furniture, fine fabrics and carefully selected decorative pieces by Antyche Case, which also oversaw the restoration and interior design project.
Each room combines the charm of a historic residence with the comfort and amenities expected by today’s traveller, inspired by the intimate atmosphere of the finest French boutique hotels.
Double rooms enjoy wonderful views over Piazza del Duomo, while the single rooms overlook the quieter southern side of the city.
Guests planning a longer stay may also choose our Studio Apartment, featuring a separate sleeping area, private bathroom, living room with kitchenette and a comfortable sofa bed.

A generous buffet breakfast is included in your stay and is served every morning from 7:45 am to 10:30 am in our welcoming breakfast room.

A selection of savoury dishes is also available upon request.
We pay particular attention to the quality and presentation of our breakfast and are happy to accommodate special dietary requirements whenever possible. Guests with allergies, intolerances or specific dietary needs are kindly asked to inform us before arrival.

Arriving by Car
Le Stanze del Cardinale is located within Pavia’s Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL). Guests may nevertheless drive directly to the property for check-in and luggage unloading by purchasing the municipal access permit.
Our staff will register your vehicle licence plate and will be pleased to assist you with parking arrangements.
A private garage is available upon reservation and subject to availability. Alternatively, several public pay-and-display car parks are located just outside the ZTL, only a short walk from the property.
